How the estimate is calculated
The calculator separates two sources of potential value so the business case stays understandable. Adjust every assumption above to match your operation, then validate the highest-impact assumptions with a real workflow pilot.
People involved are multiplied by average hours per person each week to estimate total team effort. That total is annualized and multiplied by the percentage of work you believe can reasonably be automated.
Monthly volume is annualized, then the current error/rework rate and average rework cost are reduced by your expected improvement.
First-year ROI includes your one-time implementation assumption plus 12 months of platform cost. Payback uses monthly gross value less ongoing platform cost.
Using the ROI estimate
How does the calculator estimate AI automation savings?
It estimates labor capacity from the number of people involved, their average weekly time on the process, loaded hourly cost and automatable share. It separately estimates rework savings using volume, error rate, average rework cost and expected error reduction.
Does recovered labor value mean reducing headcount?
No. The calculator treats recovered time as capacity that may be redirected to higher-value work. Whether any of that becomes direct cash savings depends on how your organization uses the recovered capacity.
Why include implementation and monthly platform costs?
Those fields prevent the calculator from showing benefit without cost. They are fully adjustable so you can model a focused pilot, a subscription, or another implementation approach.
